Netpak Packaging Announces Major Investment in Montreal Plant
Montreal, June 29, 2016. Netpak Packaging, a leading Canadian packaging printer based in Montreal, announces a multi-million dollar investment in its Montreal plant to support growth, increase automation, improve productivity and better serve its partners.

Netpak’s Montreal plant investment supports automation, converting capacity, folding carton productivity and production speed.
Automation and converting capacity support faster folding carton production
The investment adds die-cutting, folding, gluing, windowing and packing capability to help support growth, productivity and customer service.
New equipment strengthens Netpak’s folding carton converting line
In order to support its growth and better serve its partners, Netpak is investing massively in new equipment on its production line. The company’s focus is on automation, increased productivity and speed through state-of-the-art technology.
Netpak has acquired a new Bobst flatbed diecutter that includes a stripping section and a blank separation section. This acquisition supports better productivity and higher quality output in the converting process.
Netpak is also adding two folder gluers to its production line, including equipment from Bobst and Duran Machinery. One of the folder gluers will be combined with a Tamarack Vista for inline windowing. At the end of the line, Netpak is adding a high-performance automatic packer from Bobst to mechanically fill corrugated shipping boxes with folded and glued cartons.
